Lime-Scale and Water Treatment

2019/4/25 9:16:51      view:

Without water it would be impossible to live on our planet. It is vital for any organism to survive. The human body is made of about 60% of water (and the newborn child's even up to 75%!). And although is seems that there is so many water in the oceans, in some countries people don't have water. They have to travel for many miles to get couple of doses of dirty, polluted water which causes them to fall ill or even die. In some other places water is largely contaminated by human actions. The rising level of pollution in water is getting more and more concerning for our health.
To establish whether water in your area is free of pollutions, basic water testing should be made as part of our site survey for indications of the presence of calcium (lime-scale), iron & manganese, and PH levels. However the basic water tests cannot identify specific levels of presence of these issues. They can't also distinguish whether bacteria are present in tested water.
Lime-scale is the most common water treatment problem found in Irish water supplies. It is that hard, off-white, chalky deposit that can be found in kettles, hot-water boilers, inside of inadequately maintained hot-water central heating systems or in the washing machines. It is often found as well as a similar deposit on the inner surface of old pipes.
Lime-scale seriously impairs the operation of these equipments, damages their components and limits their performance leading to shortness their service life.
